Installing Gro

1. Visit the Gro listing on the Shopify App Store and click Add app.
2. Review the required permissions and click Install app.
3. Complete the onboarding wizard — this sets up your account and connects Gro to your store.

What Happens During Installation

When you install Gro, the app:

• Creates your Gro account linked to your Shopify store
• Registers webhooks to keep subscription data in sync
• Sets up the customer portal on your storefront via Shopify App Proxy

Required Shopify Permissions

Gro requires the following Shopify API scopes:

• Orders — to process subscription orders and track revenue
• Customers — to link subscriptions to customer accounts
• Products — to manage selling plans and subscription product configuration
• Subscription contracts — to create and manage recurring billing
