Getting Started

Welcome to Gro! This guide will walk you through installing the app and setting up your first subscription.

What is Gro?

Gro is a subscription management platform for Shopify. It handles the full subscription lifecycle — from checkout to recurring billing, customer self-service, retention, and growth tools like rewards and referrals.

Quick Start

  1. Install the Shopify app — Add Gro from the Shopify App Store and complete the onboarding flow. See Installation for details.
  2. Create a subscription product — Set up selling plans and configure your first subscription product. See First Subscription.
  3. Enable the customer portal — Let your customers manage their subscriptions from your storefront.
  4. Configure retention tools — Set up cancellation offers, dunning, and winback flows to protect revenue.
