SMS campaigns and flows

Gro can now send text messages. Build SMS campaigns, add a Send SMS step to any flow, and let Gro handle sender registration, opt-outs and quiet hours.

Getting set up

Go to Settings > SMS and follow the guided setup. Pick a country, choose how your messages appear (a branded name or a phone number), add your company details and a couple of documents, and submit. Our team registers the sender with the carrier and emails you when it is live. Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States are supported today.

You can build campaigns and flow steps straight away. Nothing is delivered until a country is active, and Gro tells you exactly why while you wait.

What you get

• SMS campaigns. Pick a segment, write a short message with merge tags, send now or schedule. The counter shows how many segments you are paying for.
• SMS in flows. Add a text anywhere in a flow, next to your emails. Mark order and account notices as transactional so they bypass opt-in and quiet hours.
• Compliance built in. An opt-out link on every marketing text, STOP and START keywords, safe hours you control (8 am to 8 pm by default, texts outside it wait for the window), and delivery only to countries where your sender is approved.
• Two-way consent with Shopify. Unsubscribes flow back to Shopify, and Shopify consent flows into Gro.
• AI Gro knows SMS. Ask it to text your customers and it will build the campaign, check your sender status, and warn you if nothing is active yet.
