Skip an item, not the whole order
Customers can now skip a single item from their next order and still get everything else. Until now skipping meant skipping the entire order. This gives them a lighter touch option that keeps the rest of the box on track.
The item stays on the subscription the whole time, clearly tagged “Skipped for next order”, and comes back automatically once that order has shipped. No pausing, no editing the whole subscription, no losing the item.
Ways to use it
- Already stocked on one thing. A customer has plenty of this month’s coffee but still wants the snacks. They skip the coffee once and keep the rest.
- Trim the bill for one cycle. Lighten a single order without cancelling or pausing, then carry on as normal next time.
- Keep customers instead of losing them. A “too much of one product” moment becomes a quick skip rather than a reason to cancel.
How it works
- The customer taps Skip next order on the item in their portal.
- That item is left off the next charge, so they are not billed for it.
- After the order ships, the item is added straight back for the following order.
At least one item always stays on the order, so a customer can never accidentally empty their delivery. Your team can also skip an item for a customer from the dashboard.
Turn it on under Settings, Subscriptions, Portal with the Allow skip item toggle. Prefer skipping the whole order? That option is still there too.
