Free gifts on repeat orders

The Loyalty rewards card in the customer portal. A row of five circles shows two orders placed as ticks, a gift icon on the third highlighted as next, a plain fourth, and a gift icon on the fifth. Below, Dried fruit treats is named as the gift on the next order, above a See future rewards toggle.

Give your subscribers something free the longer they stay. Pick the order it lands on, pick the gift, and Gro handles the rest.

What you can do

  • Reward the orders that matter. A free gift on the 3rd order gets someone past the early drop off. One on the 12th says thank you to the people who have been with you a year.
  • Reward only the right customers. Tie a gift to a specific product, so the coffee subscribers get the branded tumbler and the tea drinkers get something of their own.
  • Let them choose. Offer a few gifts and the customer picks their favourite from the portal. If they do not choose, Gro picks one so nobody misses out.
  • Show the progress. A coffee card style row of punches shows how many orders they have placed and which one unlocks a gift. Set up a single reward and it just shows that reward instead.

What your customers see

The next gift is named. Later ones stay a surprise, so the card still shows a gift is coming without giving away what it is.

Three days before the order, Gro can email or text them. Either a heads up that a gift is on the way, or a nudge to choose one if they have not yet. Both are available as triggers in flows, so the wording and the timing are yours.

Good to know

Gifts are added at no charge and never change the order total. If a customer removes the product that qualified them, the gift is swapped or removed automatically and the card updates to match.

The card can be switched off in Settings > Subscriptions > Customer portal if you would rather keep rewards as a surprise on arrival.
